I grew up in a communist country where churches were closed and we were not allowed to practice our religion freely.
Despite the circumstances, I still consider myself very fortunate to be born and raised in a conservative catholic family where my parents always talked about God and taught my bothers and sisters how to pray. I never attended a mass until I was in my mid 20’s when I first stepped foot in a catholic church for the first time in my life. It was a dream come true. Since I came to America, I have been attending mass every Sunday in a few other churches. A year ago I was looking to find a church where I could celebrate mass on Saturday and I found St. Bridget church. I will never forget that Saturday afternoon when I heard Father Edward celebrating the mass, it was an amazing experience! In his excellent preaching of our daily life, I found my inner peace that brought me to tears. Since then I decided to change my parish to St. Bridget.
I am so lucky to be part of this parish family. Everyone is very nice, helpful and kind.
May God bless our Father Edward and all parishioners of St. Bridget's of Ireland.Added May 07, 2017 by ana rexha - ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
I like St. Bridget's - friendly, lovely church and very pleasant pastor. I usually attend on holy days and every day during Lent. I just tried to find the time of your Stations of the Cross and could not find it on the web. I also noticed that when you listed the times of your Masses, it stated Friday at 7:00 a.m. Wasn't this changed to 8:00 a.m. for Fridays? I recently had a Mass celebrated for a friend of mine who passed away, got there at 7 and was told Mass wouldn't start until 8. Not good.

Father Ed is great and really down-to-earth. The parishioners here are super friendly. The parish itself is very family friendly.
